Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to TLC Ready (“the App”), an independent exam-preparation app developed by Eddy Castro. By using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Educational use and independence

The App provides study and practice materials for educational purposes. It is not an official TLC product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission or the City of New York. Requirements, official materials, and exam procedures can change; consult the relevant official sources. Practice performance does not predict or guarantee a passing result, license, or employment.

2. App license and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for lawful personal study, subject to these terms and Apple’s applicable usage rules. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, reverse engineer, or misuse the App or its content except where applicable law permits.

3. Lifetime Pro purchase

The App may offer a one-time, non-consumable lifetime Pro in-app purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Apple processes billing and any refund request through your Apple Account. Pro access is associated with the purchase and may be restored using the same Apple Account, subject to Apple and RevenueCat service availability. “Lifetime” refers to the supported availability of the App and its Pro features; it is not a promise that the App or any third-party platform will operate forever.

4. Content and availability

We work to keep study content useful and accurate, but do not warrant that every item is complete, error-free, or current. Official references are provided to help you verify information. Features and content may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance, platform changes, or circumstances outside our control.

5. Disclaimer and limitation

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly required by law. We are not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of practice content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the App changes. Continued use after a revised version is posted means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law. Questions: tlcready@eddycastro.com.
