Last Updated: May 26, 2026

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Pulse Tennis ("we," "our," or "us") handles information. Pulse Tennis is developed and operated by Eddy Castro as an independent developer.

1. Information We Collect

Pulse Tennis is designed to be a privacy-first application.

Match Data

Data you enter into the App (such as player names, opponent names, match scores, match history, and match statistics) is stored on your device using Apple's local storage frameworks.

If you use AI Coach features, selected match information and derived match statistics may be sent to our backend service so we can generate match analysis, weekly summaries, trend coaching, and opponent scouting reports. This may include opponent names, scores, dates, match duration, win/loss results, point/game/set counts, and performance statistics. We do not require you to create an account, and these requests are associated with an anonymous app user identifier used for purchase validation.

Health & Workout Data

With your permission, the App may record a workout session using Apple's HealthKit framework. This data is stored in your Health app and on your device. We do not sell HealthKit data, use it for advertising, or share HealthKit data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Purchase and Subscription Information

We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage in-app purchase and subscription validation for the Pro unlock and AI Coach subscription. RevenueCat generates an anonymous App User ID to determine your purchase status. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment card information through the App.

2. How We Use Information

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Retention

Your match data remains on your device as long as the App is installed. AI Coach reports may be cached on your device so they do not need to be regenerated every time you view them. Workout data stored in Apple Health persists in Health as long as you retain it there.

Deletion

You can delete local match data and cached AI Coach reports by deleting the App. Workout sessions recorded in Apple Health can be deleted directly from the Health app. Once deleted from the App, match data cannot be recovered by us.

5. HealthKit Data

Pulse Tennis requests access to write workout data to Apple HealthKit. This is used to log your tennis sessions as workouts. HealthKit data is not used for advertising and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Important clarification: Most match data you create is stored locally on your device. If you use AI Coach features, selected match information and derived statistics are transmitted to our backend and AI service providers to generate the requested coaching response.

Purchase-related data is processed by the Apple App Store and validated via RevenueCat using an anonymous App User ID. Any requests related to subscription billing or payment data must be handled directly through Apple.
