Frequently Asked Questions

I bought Pro but it's not showing up.

You can restore your purchase in the app by tapping "Restore Purchases" in Settings. This re-syncs your status with the App Store at no extra cost.

What sounds are free?

The free tier includes White Noise, Pink Noise, and Brown Noise with 30-minute and 45-minute timers. Pro unlocks Deep Brown, Soft Fan, Air Conditioner, Rain-like, and Ocean-like sounds, plus extended timers and depth control.

Is Hushform a subscription?

No. Hushform Pro is a one-time purchase. You pay once and own it forever. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.

How does the depth/warmth slider work?

The depth slider adjusts the tonal characteristics of each sound — pushing it toward deeper, warmer textures or lighter, brighter ones. This is a Pro feature; free users can see the slider but it is locked.

Can I play sounds all night?

Yes! Pro users can select Infinite playback for all-night use, as well as 1-hour, 2-hour, and 8-hour timers. Free users have access to 30-minute and 45-minute timers.

What happens when the timer ends?

Hushform includes a graceful fade-out that gradually reduces the volume before the timer expires. You'll never be jolted awake by a sudden silence.

Does Hushform work offline?

Yes. All sounds are generated live on your device using real-time audio synthesis. No internet connection, audio files, or streaming is required. You only need internet to purchase or restore Pro.

Does Hushform play in the background?

Yes. Hushform continues playing when you lock your device or switch to other apps. It's designed for uninterrupted sleep and focus sessions.

Does Hushform collect my data?

No. Hushform does not collect personal information, does not require an account, and does not transmit analytics. Your sound preferences are stored locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Does Hushform use my microphone?

No. Hushform generates audio — it does not record anything. The App never accesses your microphone.
