This policy explains how PocketOwl ("the App") handles your information. PocketOwl is designed with your privacy in mind. We believe your data belongs to you, and we minimize the information we collect.
PocketOwl is a local-first application. The core functionality runs entirely on your device.
Removing the App from your device will remove your locally stored data unless you export it manually.
If you choose to purchase PocketOwl Pro, Apple processes the transaction securely through your Apple Account. We do not receive your payment information.
The App integrates RevenueCat to validate purchases, manage subscription access, and restore purchases. RevenueCat may process an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID, product and transaction information, and technical details required to provide its service. No personal information is tied to your purchases.

To improve the App, we use PostHog to collect minimal, anonymous usage events (e.g., whether a paycheck comparison was completed successfully or which app features are utilized). These events contain only categorical properties and do not include any personal data, shift details, or paystub information.
