a closer look.

01

You start the extraction.

When you click Extract Lead, LeadClip reads the active tab’s URL and up to 15,000 characters of visible text.

02

Page text stays local.

Chrome’s on-device AI processes the text on your device. LeadClip does not send page content to its servers. Chrome may download or update its model.

03

You decide what to keep.

Review the draft, edit the fields, and export when you’re ready.

A few things
to know.

What does LeadClip extract?

Professional details such as names, job titles, companies, location, skills, education, and a profile URL. An email can be extracted when it is explicitly written on the page. AI drafts can contain mistakes or omit details, so review the result.

What do I need to run it?

A compatible desktop version of Chrome and a device that supports its built-in on-device AI. Chrome may download the model before the first extraction. The extension runs on desktop Chrome; this sample also works on mobile. LeadClip will show its availability in the side panel.

Does it connect directly to my CRM?

Direct CRM integrations are not available in the current version. You can download CSV files or copy records as text or JSON.

Does it read the whole page?

The current version reads up to the first 15,000 characters. If that text exceeds the local model’s context limit, it retries with a shorter prefix and tells you; details later on the page may not appear in the draft.
